Oregon grape is a plant whose roots have a potent antimicrobial and disinfectant properties. It can be used in the treatment of a variety of bacterial and fungal infections. Aside from aiding the liver it can be used in the treatment of psoriasis, eye and skin infections as well as syphilis.
