Slippery elm bark

Slippery elm bark is a tree. The inside of the bark is used as a medicine. It is used for coughs, sore throat, diarrhea, constipation,hemorroids, IBS syndrom, bladder, urinatry tract infections, syphillis, herpes and tapeworm removal. The herb is used for protection against gastric and duodenal ulcers, diverticulits, excess bile. Slippery elm bark contains chemicals which can help to alleviate sore throat pains. This can lead to mucus infection which can be useful for gastric and intestinal infections.
